Wikipedia
Wikipedia for those who do not know it yet, is an online Encyclopedia, but with a difference.
All the content are created by users. There is a review committee which ensures that all the content are from Generally available public information and not a part of any classified or properietary work.
In essence its a free Encylopedia. The best part is that there are lakhs of pages in various topics, contributed by the brightest and the people in the field to put in their knowledge.
I was thrilled by the amount of information on this site.
If you havent started it yet, I guess its time. The best part is, with Firefox you also get a wikipedia search !!!!!

Wikipedia is absolutely awesome. While the high priests at Encyclopedia Britannica look down on a community generated encyclopedia, with no way of verifying whether the author of an article is an "expert" on the topic, my experience with Wikipedia has been wholly positive. Whats more, it is free and can even be carried on your PDA. Isn't it wonderful that every home can have an entire encyclopedia if they just have a computer and an access to the Internet.
